Q: Is Take Note an auditioned group?

A: No. We want all singers ages 14 and up who love to sing to be able to join! (If someone younger than this was already a part, they are welcome to remain in the group! For younger ages, check out Charisma Chorus).

Q: Does it cost money?

A: Yes, $75 per program from each member. This fee helps to pay your directors, accompanist, other musicians if needed, and general costs to run a group like this (ie. printing, insurance, location fees, etc.).  We may do fundraisers to help cover additional music fees.

Q: When will Take Note rehearse?

A: We will meet Thursday nights from 6:30-7:45pm. 

Q: How many programs a year will there be?

A: 2 programs and 2 concerts a year at this time.

Q:  What styles of music will be sung?

A: A variety of music styles will be sung including, but not limited to: folk, traditional, musical theater, jazz, pop, spirituals

Q: Is Take Note affiliated with any church/religion?

A: No, Take Note is not affiliated with any church. We are open to all members of all beliefs and backgrounds.
